Not much news to put up on the site this week; here`s a thing or 2 that might interest you:
You may have noticed that the
Catalog now has a new menu and another section added to it. The Soft Goods area is fully functional. Mesh Caps, Tshirts, Shoes, socks...its all there. Press F5 a couple of times if you feel like doing some shopping.

I just got word the Standpoint Video`s will be arriving shortly. They dont come out too often but they kill it everytime.
Number 6 was filmed in section features; Matt Berringer Backyard and Bio, Pual Horan section, The Bad Timing crew, Jesse Williams section, Street mix with Van Orman. The Bonus sectin is a killer too:
Bane Death Challenge, Animal Brooklyn Banks Jam, Transitions Jam, Shitluck Trip, Michigan check and the mandatory crash and outtakes sections.
DL a clip here and check out the Standpoint videozine website while you wait.

I recently felt the need to try out some wider bars on my rig. So instead of looking at a another new set of bars (I recently bought some Revenge 4pc bars) i opted to have my old KGB Sarvets welded up..

I took the bars and 2 short 1" off cuts down to the local welder and he did a fine job indeed; didnt even charge me for it, stoked! The bars now 27" wide opposed to 25" as before. If it ever stops raining i might just go give em a go. Moral of the story, never cut too much!

January has been a hectic month for us so far, its been crazy busy around here and we've had lots of visitors, loads of new stock items and on top of that; the weather has been great so alot of riding has been going on. Oh yeah, the new 4130 website is almost complete too.

Phil sent me some random blurb from Somerset West; Konstant is back in the country and rocking a new setup, he`s promised me some photo`s of K`s bike for a bike check in the near future...(Konstant has just returned from exile in the UK for a short while).
Apparently Malcolm Peters is pulling sick flip turndowns at the trails and Phil says he seen a very close 360 flip too. Malcolm is putting it down!

Cruisin the web today I came across this; taken at Dirtopia last year. The photographer (Jaco le Roux) was voted best Snapshot photographer by Red bull. That's quite something. If you look around on that web site you will find a bunch more awesome BMX photo`s.

Blast from the past! Malcolm Silver circa 1993 at Wayne's back yard ramp, Pretoria. Shot by Taro Saito who was back-packing around South Africa at the time from Japan.
The ramp is no longer but like a cheezy blind date the memories live on.

Here's that bike check with Mugs' S&M L.A.F Tidy not-so-little setup.
Jaque aka Mugs was down last week with Paul Soderlund and hooked up a new setup up from us. They were on a mission to hit the Durban scene; and they did. Read below and check out the pics of what went down. On with the bike check!

Dig Magazines 50th issue is out in the U.S and U.K. Looks like its packed full of some awesome content. Check out the Dig ws. Available on subscription in South Africa for about R350 a year.

Do you have Paraskevidekatriaphobia?? Better not ride your bike today then....

A little late for back to school sales...here's a few up close photo`s of the Fit Bike Co. back pack. There are so many pockets in there it will be hard to run out of space. There`s plenty room for books and school stuff and you could even sneak your helmet in there too for those after school sessions at the park. Word.
Some specs:
Big ass zippers that wont mess up, water proof, plenty pockets and compartments, reinforced stitching and a load of support straps and clips. R340 a pop.

Click on the thumbnails below for enlargements of each.
